David Z. Frankel, M.D.
Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician
Dr. Frankel specializes in Primary Care Sports Medicine and Non-Operative Orthopaedics with advanced training and skills to be a caregiver for active patients of all ages.
Dr. Frankel is interested in the promotion of life-long wellness and fitness, as well as in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of activity-related musculoskeletal illness and injury. He has advanced training in the evaluation, treatment, and return-to-play decision making for musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal medical problems of sick or injured athletes and active individuals of all ages. Dr. Frankel is an integral member of the Sports Medicine “team” of caregivers, serving as a coordinator of global medical and rehabilitative care of athletes, and working together with Orthopaedic Surgeons in the care of teams and athletes.
