Jason J. Waterman, MD

Dr. Waterman specializes in diagnosing and treating athletic injuries through non-operative measures.  He received his training in sports medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Hospital.  Dr. Waterman has spent significant time working with both the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Flyers during his sports medicine training, as well as working with the collegiate athletic teams at Rowan University and the University of Pennsylvania.  His extensive experience with athletes of all levels from high school to the elite and professional ranks makes him a much sought after physician.

He is also extremely active in the Philadelphia area, where you can find him working as a medical staff at many of the city’s major athletic events including the Philadelphia marathon, Penn Relays, US men’s and women’s soccer matches, among many others.

More than anything, Dr. Waterman enjoys seeing a patient recover from injury and return to their desired activities in full health.  He understands that each injury is unique and has its own associated stresses.  Therefore, Dr. Waterman takes the time to understand each problem and provides a personalized plan of care for every patient that optimizes a safe and expedient recovery.
