How long does it take to get an appointment?
This varies by doctor and the severity of the problem. We make every effort to schedule appointments in a timely manner.

Should I bring x-rays?
If you are bringing x-rays (actual films) to your appointment x-rays must be current, no older than 3 to 4 months, to be of use to the doctor. Neck or back problems are the exception for which the x-rays can be no older than 6 months.

In addition, if you have older x-rays please bring them for comparison. If you are bringing MRI films, please bring a copy of the written report as well.

Our x-ray facilities are located within our offices. Many patients will have x-rays before seeing the doctor. If you are insured by a managed care plan, please check to see if you will need a separate referral for x-rays.

What insurance do you take?
We participate with many insurance companies. Please check with your insurance carrier regarding our participation and your responsibility for referrals, co-payments, etc. If it is determined that Booth, Bartolozzi, Balderston Orthopedics does not participate with your insurance company, payment is required at the time of your visit. Please note that if you have Medicare and your spouse is employed, the insurance of your spouse is your primary insurance.
